Rhetoric | Religion | Renaissance
This website showcases my work as a scholar and teacher of rhetoric.
My research explores how religion and rhetoric have collided and combined across history.
My teaching assumes that reading exemplary texts, honing rhetorical skills, and engaging in public advocacy are complementary endeavors. Like the Renaissance humanists I study and the Deweyan pedagogues I admire, I believe education must stem from the experience and aptitudes of the student.
